Kashton's Castle

While in Vegas we spent a night at The Excalibur, or as Kashton called it "our castle". Great fun for a little kid on his first big vacation. Walking up his was the most excited little kid you have ever seen.

Kashton insisted on bringing his own luggage in.

After Kashton showed the lady at the front desk how cute he is she changed our room from a bottom floor with no view to the 16th floor with a view of the pool. While we waited for Grandma and Grandpa to show up in Vegas Kashton spent much of his time staring at the kids playing in the pool and getting all excited to go swimming with the family.

Kashton's first night in a real hotel. Every time that we go on vacation it is to Utah and we stay at Grandma and Grandpa's so this was really special for him.

Kashton really wanted to climb up there with that knight and take his sword and be a knight thats right. Sorry buddy can't do that!

Dam!

On the way to our Vegas Vacation Mike and I decided to stop at the Hoover Dam. Mike had never been to Vegas and had never seen the Hoover Dam so we decided to be tourists and enjoy our time. We did not take a tour but just showed ourselves around and enjoyed the sights.

After a long ride in the car it was great to walk out the kinks. Sight seeing was a great way to do it.

Kashton thought the hights were wonderful. He kept wanting to stand on the wall so we had to hold on tight.

After all the walking around we were ready to head to our hotel and for Mike to see Vegas for the first time!

Sprinkler Time

This summer has been hot. And by hot I mean H O T. All summer long the temperatures have reached over 100 degrees and there feels as if there is no relief from it. So to cool ourselves off we have spent many days running through the sprinklers for as long as we can be outside.
